I'm scratching my head on how they had so many bc, so we scout xbomber and find out he did a bloody sy spam.... Litterally first time I've seen that strat used in over a year since its been shunned by all skilled as way too cheap(t).

Various SY spam victims (do I need to name names?) complained so much that a lot of the "better" players stopped using it. Even in balanced-team skilled games, it takes some of the fun out of things by encouraging bc orgies.
I don't think there's anything "cheap" about spam, but I don't do it (except in 2v3 or 2v4) because I like the challenge of winning without it. For the same reason, I don't use ARM-sharing or mod-unlocking unless I know the other team is doing it (and even then I usually skip it unless they're uber-skilled).
Mini: Some sy spam complainers also bitched about double DD. It's a crazy world.
Xerxes, Star & Xbomber: I encourage you to spam (and use whatever other nasty tricks you can think of you) when you play vs. me, unless I'm stuck with serious nubs.
And good to see you ex-Ducks! Maybe you or some other tfls could drag Zanargy out of the Soase lobby for a few hw2 games.
Hehe, indeed no strat is really forbidden. Me and Fin do a ton of 2v4's w/ SY spam, but last year it was typical for both teams to agree not to do sy spam before game, and this year it was pretty much a given. Again, any strat is fine, but obvously it took me/sfu for a big surprise - nothing better scouting couldn't have fixed. -_-
tho, whats cheap is not the spam/share but game quickly turns out as 9 bc vs 9 bc which means, 1 guy go zzz for 5 sec and his team is complete toast... no matter how swarm goes. now thats cheap.
also, double dd starts to look stinking on medium sized map where hig/vay team has no way of killing that. (unless vay does some great infil work, but without luck, you're toast fast) which limits how one can choose race in certain maps which is cheap.
but on the contrary, i think its a new way to balance an unbalanceable game, where you let a team with pretty bad newb in do the 'cheap' stuff.
Sorry I couldn't make it guys. I was unable to get my homeworld 2 copy working in time to come online and play. Also I was dragged up to canada by my family for the span of dec 30th to jan 5th and unable to get a decent internet signal in order to play.

We ZzZz in the game after sfu said "gg" (kinda thomas 's disease). We lost 5 Bcs and lost control in middle. After this, sfu gave thomas's disease to Xerxes, GG! Xerxes said . CLoaked was so happy and go toward my nub pos with all his stuff, He forgot his left side and my cc. I burned his cc, then i luckly marined his dd while my ions pfft his Ms. During this time i got trouble with 5 bcs on my base; Star had only 1SY and 2 ccs left cause he lost his Ms in middle. I pumped inties and xfer 1 full swarm to star and i got 4 DD at basethat i xfer to him (the 5th one was a cloaked dd i captured). With cloack on Sy and Ms i had enough time to pump my second Bc and 2 dds. Our fighters broke mods on Bcs but we lost Star's SY
During this time Xerxes was on missile corvs+swarm and destroyed all the patches they had . Star and I Pfft the last 5th BC with dd+ bcs and we jumped 3 bcs to their base cause they sold their grav to get money.

But if I sit and do double ions, you have no reason to win if you start attacking though, but that's not how I want to win
i have seen and been there and thats not the way to say gg when u lose
i know its hard to get on with straight loses hid and not the start to blame,
between players like u or cloaked i always say its 50/50 ggs

it's not so hard to go by a few straight losses. But you do realize i never go double pump against you to sit still and do exactly as same as your build to gain pure advantage, because that is simply an universal rule to win, which is quite too simple. (Although lately, that rule is about to be broken in shield.)
But it is always gg with people like you who does a tight double pump. (Now with fct)
And triple pump lately is starting to stink, looking to drop it.
