Rock Climbingjust curious to see if anyone on the boards is or has ever done rock climbing. just got into it about 5 months ago. that is the reason why i am not usually online until late at night. what can i say i like remaining active while i still can =)

I used too I'm not sure if you guys use the same grading system but my best lead was a single pitch Extreme1:5c near Tinturn Abbey in South Wales.
Funny thing was I got my ropes crossed 2/3rds of the way up and I had to untie one of them leaving me exposed to hitting the deck as the last piece of gear on the other rope was too far down to be any use.

we use the 5.-- scale... so like 5.10a or b or c to grade and the lowest is a 5.4 and the highest is a 5.14... highest i have done so far was a 5.10b.... cut me some slack though i did just start 5 months ago =).... i am gonna be doing some lead climbing outdoors this year so i will let you know how well it goes... i gotta find the video or this nasty dude that i know... your jaw will drop from it =)

to scary for me, i woudnt dare  ....i remember a story when someone wen't rock climbing.
And the rope snaped and the dude fell VERY far down. Felt really sry for him...  , oh well, sht happenes, lol
(yes guys, he lived, and he still rock climbs)
