Ok i can run the game but when i go online it wont let me host or connect to games. connecting it just hangs there and hosting it locks up. i am at a lan party but ive played it before during my lans.

i have installed SupCom with my friends for the lan (ugh it takes so long to play (for noobs) ). i wonder if that has caused a problem? any ideas?

Was HW2 working fine online before you installed SupComm?

HW2 has a really horrible habit of freezing up when there is a problem with network comms, it usually does time-out and return you to the menu but only after about 15mins.

I think you should ask your GF if she has sabotaged your installation of HW2
