-I would like to join up in Homeworld 2.
-Sense HW1
-I played multiplayer 6 months after the game came out(though I was inactive during some of the first few months)
-I want to join TFL because it is boring to play with people you dont know and it would be nice to play with some of the same peole a lot of the time.
-I know P5,MadBomber,RoBey and a few others I forgot there name (Sorry the other peole I dont play with much)
-I live in Mountian time in the US.
-I play at random times, just whenever I can get it in.

Well welcome to our forums. I don't know what to tell you about recruitment in Hw2. It is kinda a dead game but if you meet TFLs there grab them up for some games. You have a pretty good attitude from what ive seen so I recommend you guys who still are on hw2 (and don't have your own Shelley to mess with your gaming) give this guy a look. 1v1, teams, whatever. I rarely get on now since the game is old but sometimes i jump on to murder some people with VectorChiken.

As I said, the game is pretty old and recruitment there isnt too fast or furious but if some other guys get to know you and recommend inviting you then in a few weeks or a month you will probably be sporting a nice new TFL tag, all shiny and pretty. If I run into you again i will snag you for a team game and maybe a 1v1 or so.

SO...........what game is hot that you guys play a lot? I personally will be staking a presence in Unreal Tournament 2006/7.

HW2 is a dying game but somehow manages to clutch on to life by a thread, If you are seriously interested in joining us, I would suggest you look into one of the other games we are active in, which at the moment is few but EaW or Cata would be your best bet right now.

Ok, Cata isnt really that active except on friday and saturday, at least according to what I know. Most cata players are american. This is why I never see them. Hw2 is much more active but mostly fodder. You have Ducks in europe, Brz on after 6pm CET, i think, SF seem to wait for midnight in Europe (CET) before getting on, and genesis clan play 1 map so while there are often 15 people on those 15 people, as you said, are noobish at least 90%. I love the noobs who think they know the game but can be adv frig rushed on sarum (UnionAerospace).

If you want to get SW EAW feel free. It is fun but so 1 dimensional. Occupy the enemy for 20 minutes while one guy drops 15 bombers late in the game to massacre their station. I have fun when I play it but compared to hw2 movement and tactics it is dead simple. Get it only if you just want a fun game and have the ru, did i say ru? lol to waste.

I prolly speak as one of the most active HW2 players of TFL (been off for 3 weeks as I travel through Australia, thats why you haven`t seen me recently...) I remember your name appearing in lobby a few times but I don`t recall any games I played with you.
Certainly, the days when there were 10 TFLs online in hw2 lobby are over, but guys like bigbang, logan, cern and a few other less regular players (such as Mad_Bomber) are still in full swing.Angelus is in process of getting into the game as well.
I will be back playing hw2 in about a week so get back to me in lobby so we can play a few games.
Looking forward to that.

Don't worry Daft, I dont just want to join TFL because it is "cool" but like you said I want to join because in HW2 I want to make a contribution to the clan while still growing in my game. I want to get started with EaW soon bet lets just say my allowence doesnt go very far. :D I hope to see you guys in a few weeks at the least in EaW and I want to meet up with a few of you in HW2. I say, come to cataclysm :). Maddie your statements are wrong! Last nigh, there were 8 people active the whole entire night! Actually it's been kind of busy this week. We actually have found some new guys, and this time a couple of us made sur eto be nice to them so they would actually come back for another game. lol. Yeah, and 3 TFL's were on last night :). I really hope Rad comes back to cataclysm soon...

i jumped ms to creinker to pump out dds u know.. creinker did good job adapting to gun vet-gunplats to kill off most of my figters well enogh so id retreat them. he was making dd to i was unaware but then i noticed he had a cap mod and i was like OH SHIT. he gave me a runn for my money there so he is inproving prety fast....

Hey guys I just wanted to thank you for all of this positive feedback. I havn't seen you yet daft and I hope that we get to play a few games soon. What times are you on, I am on at random days and at random times so if you can tell me when you will most likely on I will try to meet up with you. That was a awsome game and lots of fun robey and raemon, all though I hope I dont get pounded so easily next time. Recently though I played a great 3v3 with a Xeno on my team. My other teammate after building a huge RU operation and was starting to pump out various ships lags out. Then a guy from the other team, Ace I think his name was offers to scuttle no transfering for us to have 2v2 and we said that was fine. At this point I am vayger and have max fighters fully upgraded then started to transfer them to DanOwar while he goes dd's and has a shipyard over enemys base while having a BC building(his mothership was over enemy base too). I start going CC (built 4 of them) crazy and get lasers and fully upgrade them while starting dd,s on FS. After the lasers finish I give a frig mod to cc,s and go max HMF. One of my enemys had at this piont been destryed becasue ace was there GW, there for we got ships to there base easy. Then DanOwar snycs out or whatever so we lose our Bc's vs his Bc's. I at this point had seen Mike (last enemy) hyper away MS and was building CC's and vettes. I destroyed Ms with lasers (it was hiding really high up) and was using inties to kill his collectors, while dd's and HMF seeked out CC's and killed any collectors they met. AT the last point of game I belive he had 1 CC and 1 SY which I was attacking and it finally had built 1 BC with whatever tiny RU amount he saved up. I whent after BC with DD's and 15 HMF while killed SY with lasers and then I was going to go for his last CC or what I hoped was his last CC. Then my connection broke up for 3 sec and I lagged out. Sorry it was so long i just wanted to share this game which was one of the funnist Hide-and-go-destroy I have ever had. Sorry if this is spamming, and Daft I do not have MSN messenger. Just post any times you want to play, of course with your time zone.

hes a noobtard, I played with him last night under a smurf name, he demanded i did ridiculas things and tried to order me about while doing the most laughable stuff, one ship hyper cap with no stack LMFAO he was just very lucky he didnt get stuck in a grav and killed if we had been playing anyone but xeno he'd of been dead,

OK. I played my first games with Creniker yesterday.
My first impression is that he`s ok but cant give him rec yet. I want to play a few more games with him. Cren did ok with the fighter in second game, however he was very slow when Raemon and Robey attacked me with frigs and dds in first game.I expected more from a someone who expects to become TFL.
So lets just have a few more games, Creniker, I can`t give you rec otherwise.

Papa you are right on many things but I would also like to inform you I have only seen a couple of hyper caps ever and probuley only 1 proper example of one, I was trying to see how it worked and I didnt do so well. You guys are again right that my game knowlage is lakking (so is my spelling). I guess I was being a little bossy and next time I will look around a little more before trying to bark out orders, though I didnt see a really big battle going on at the time I asked for fighters all I saw was I small fighter scramble and I though you were about to finish. True, true, i remember those harsh lessons only too well, but at the same time i didn't order people around when i was clueless, I at least had the sense to keep my head down, and also when i joined Paktu I kept quite most of the time and learnt what i could from those around me. oh Cren i forgive ya, not that theres anything really to forgive. i aint that bothered I am just bored and taking the piss, tbh i was laughing more at reign and his attempt at hyper cap during the game.

There are several variations to hyper cap, dependent on what they are building and how fast you want to get to their base, but with any where frigs are invloved stacking frigs is important, there is a variation without a frig stack which is frig based but i never liked that one very much, and also you must jump cc and ms MS alone can not build fast enough to cope with the pressure you come under.

Anyway as an olive branch to show i am not always (just most of the time) a piss taking cunt ill show you the basic build que I came up with, a long time ago in a place far away if i see you tonight.
