All started one fateful day when I picked up Aliens v Predator, jumped online and was immediately picked up by the 101st Colonial Marine corp (Clan) Through skill and determination I went up the ranks to Corporal (which was only 3rd away from running the clan itself). Good times here as I was on almost every night beating back other clans like they were flies. I left 101st due to a long period of internet problems.
Upon coming back online after internet issues were solved I decided against going back to AvP as the community had all but died in favour of AvP2, which at the time my comp couldnt handle, so I turned my attention to Star Trek Armada2 which was insane fun with a massively imbalanced game. Never joined any clans here as there was no-where worth joining. My gaming soon took a nose dive with moving homes/babies/mariages and the like....
It would be some time before I get back into gaming and when I did, boy did I have an impact. The Homeworld era beckoned me and as I missed out on HW and Cata online play I went straight into HW2 about a week after it's release, not even bothering with the SP campaign... 3 nights into the game I was snapped up by PSA where my enthusiasm for keeping things running sooned rocked a few boats. Along with Drunk and some others, I soon instigated the arrival of the new Squad system, in which Myself and Drunk found the legendary Magus and began an orgy of ownage right across the HW2 community sealing my reputation as an awesome team player. Around this time, Drunk had joined TLSC along with Magus which created the first rolling stones that form a devastating avanlanche that would end up destroying PSA. The history setting event of the PSA dream team switching to TLSC entirely will be remembered by most hw2 veterans and created shockwaves through the clans that would ultimately start the clans v TLSC war, which I want go into detail but TLSC won with little effort.
So the TLSC era began.
I raised through what ranks there were at the time, until I became a trusted officer of the Command. HW2 became stagnant and the veterans left paving the way for the next generation to come in. Meanwhile I was busy starting work on the ill-fated Unreal Tournament 2004 division, which was very hard going and with some help from Spulm and Eadig-teon became a raving success throughout a 6 month period. Then the a handful of events started to break the division up and after some bad decisions and even poorer members, the division died. After a few more failed projects (admittedly the fall of which was caused by myself through lack of support) I became discontent and created the rather successful albeit very brief freelancer division. Once all the divisions I had created became crusted over with Dust I fell into discontentment once more. Which ended up in me leaving TLSC for a different experience.
I ended up floating around doing a bit of solo gaming when Mad_Bomber approached me, asking me to join TFL, which I ended up doing to rather welcoming arms. Upon joining TFL, I created the Empire at War (Star Wars) division and the learning from previous mistakes, I crafted a majorly successful division where TFL were the Dominant force right across the community. With the likes of P5Ynergy and CommanderSB, we simply did not lose and destroyed EVERY clan we came across. Although the game was fun sadly it wouldn't last as the patches that were released never corrected the connections issues and the game soon became a chore and activity (understandably) waned.
and now here I am in the present wondering what to do next, so i wrote this.
RangeR|TFL
I two was simmalar.. staring off on CC. and moving stright to HW2
i was part of the TLSC clan and Demon clan wich were very good allies back then.. and MVB's dd rush parterner.. My first online game was Empire at War. I went up into the UK lobby and had game after game against noob players. After about 2 weeks, a noob clan caled Empire of Neraxia ([EoN]) picked me up, and i played with them against clans such as=SL=
It was about this time when -6-6-6- was created, and i left [EoN] in order to join them. However my consciensce got the better of me, as clan hopping didnt appeal, so i went back to [EoN].. which soon after disbanded through lack of leadership and players.
One fateful day someone told me how to go from he UK lobby to the USA lobby, where TFL were hosting a "Apocs Famous TFL vs 3" game, which i joined. After many games with TFL still tagged up as [EoN], i was invited to join by Wiki. Rest if history :D
you can wake up now

What you don't know about me could just about fill the Grand Canyon, bitch.
In Silent Bob's immortal words, I begin my tale.
My online career started with the venerable Quake1. Connection options then were pretty much limited to the original Gamespy client and Heat.net. I didn't like gamespy, so I used Heat. Playing under the names of Solution7 and smurfing now and then under the name of BrisK, I quickly became known as one of the toughest opponents to inhabit the lobbies there. Every match I was in, I was in the top 3.
Soon after, I discovered the original Team Fortress for Quake(this was before Half-Life had come out). A keen stragetic mind coupled with many many hours playing X-Com quickly made me a disturbing force to be reckoned with there as well, and I continued to play TF for around a year before I moved out of my house and had many adventures over the years without internet. It was 1998 when I left.
Now, cue to 2003.
Homeworld 2 had just been released, and since I'd been away from the computer gaming world for some time by this point, I entirely missed the original HW and Cata. I had just gotten a new computer some months previously and had been searching for something to gain my interest. Sitting on the couch and flipping through the channels on the television, I ran across a program doing a walkthrough on the newly released HW2. It looked interesting. More than that, it looked beautiful.
I decided to go and get it at the store that day. And then, my life changed.
Like Apoc, I disregarded the SP game entirely and immediately jumped with both feet into multiplay. Using my old name of Solution7, I sought out games and knowledge. My second day of play, I'd already figured out much of the game. By the time a week had passed, I was regularly playing against the then Chiken superteam of Pherdnut, 'rilla, and Nemesis. I did not win against them, but it only sharpened my desire to get better. To prove myself.
And then came a fateful event. I joined a PSA game, with a random teammate. My opponents were Tipsy and Crown, both of which retired/dissapeared -very- shortly after. It was one of the hardest games I've ever played, and to my surprise, we won. I was eliminated after a long and fierce battle with Tipsy that allowed my teammate, who I do not remember(though I have a sneaking theory that it was either Drunk or Laserflip under a smurf name) to beat Crown and then take the battle to Tipsy.
After that game, I was invited to join PSA, which I gladly accepted. I learned much about the game, and played nearly non-stop when I was not working. I continued to improve, and continued to clash with the Chikens though I never quite got the upper hand.
One day, out of the blue, Drunk, who I had become close to and spoke with regularly, invited me to leave PSA with the other two superstars - Apoc and Magus. Again, I accepted and took the name Blacksand which came to me in a dream. With the four of us gone, PSA collapsed and TLSC embarked on a reign of supremacy that is both legend and all the sadder because of how it ended.
With a new name, and a new symbol, both of which have become well-known, I embarked on a meteoric rise through the ranks of TLSC - eventually rising to command the TLSC HW2 division and sharing initial leadership in the fledgling DoW division which was soon handed over to Fell when I had to deploy, and MVB lost interest.
When I returned, I found my interest in my old FPS roots piqued. I'd never liked the UT games, so I entered the then-new BF2 world and quickly found myself enjoying it to an unheard-of degree. By now firmly entrenched in the leadership of TLSC, I had found myself accepting Mad Bomber's request to join TFL because more of the people I considered friends played among this clan's ranks.
I was dissatisfied with TLSC. Had been for some time. Rayn3r, Drunk, Laserflip - all three were gone. I never saw Magus or Diviner. MVB was caught up in his addiction to WoW. The only people left that I could rely on were DJ, Tom, and Apoc.
Apoc and I discussed the matter, and we both decided to leave TLSC. It was one of the hardest things that I've ever had to do. From there, I moved to the 9th Infantry clan. They are no-shit, one of the best BF2 clans around, and maintain a sizable presence in both Freelancer and EvE. I knew them from Freelancer, playing with Apoc, and gained their respect in that arena. I played there for some months, but the I threw myself into it too hard - playing for the 9th on several competitive teams in BF2.
Eventually, I reconnected with Apoc and rejoined my old TFL bretheren just in time to reap the whirlwind of EaW. I only played the game a short time, but I found myself wanting. HW2 had long since ceased to hold any enjoyment for me. EvE could not hold my interest. What was a poor gamer to do?
Finally, the answer came. Company of Heroes.
Finally, a reason to play.
Finally, old friends and foes.
Finally, my future. A full circle from my return to gaming. Relic to Relic.
I don't maintain a heavy presence on the forums.
I don't maintain a heavy presence on the RelicNews boards.
I don't need to. My win/loss when the release hits will speak for itself.
This game is my future.
This game is the next jumping point for TFL.
This game will once again make opponents tremble at the name Blacksand, and the might of TFL.
My path is clear, who will follow me?
Sandino
I started playing the CnC demo and got hocked. Since that game I have played Tib.sun, RA/RA2, Genz some starcraft, Duke Nukem, Shadow worrior(IMO: the best\funniest FPS EVER) doom etc. I also played BF2 competetivly in Nowray. Then joined Tacticalgamers and played non stop on their server(scrims etc).
When I heard that Petroglyph was releasing a new game I had to get it, thats how my EaW gaming started. I played alot and found myself owning in 2v2\3v3 with Apoc. When I got invited I couldnt say no, so I joined TFL. Petro really dissepointed me with the game\patches and I got tierf of it and stoped playing it.
Then I saw this new RTS comming out called RoL. With beatiful gameplay and depth, but Gamespy fucked up this great game.
Blacksand I will start playing CoH hardcore. Hope we can own Epic in a couple of months( And I will take a screen shot of me owning Epic|HERO.
