They are running both an open & closed beta soon, worth a look I would say.

I have always opposed the subscription nature of MMO games, JGE haven't released any details yet but given the added competition to Eve this can only be a good thing.

I think if there was a sensible subscription based on something like $30 for 6 months I would take a look, after all an MMO is going to have much higher running costs than a peer-to-peer MP game.
