Great game depite dropshttp://img149.imageshack.us/my.php?image=untitled5vl.jpgOk rust is still on and some of us don't play obsessively anymore but oh boy what a game! Hideki dropped at 55 minutes or so. Pete Swede scuttled to make it even. Black died and a few seconds later took BigBangTheory with him in a sync. 1 hour and 8 minutes after we started the game finished. WHEW! I wont go into the gory details but it was a slugfest! I passed BBT a sy and built another so we were on 2x bcs. BBt went fighters, frigs, bc, and later dd (i think). Hideki went swarm to vettes and bc later. I was on DD, frigs and bc. Peter450 took the side with a cc and grav well. Bang and I sent a pair of ccs to manage that but it was an all game long fight. Peter was going fighters, pulsars, frigs, and bc with maybe dds. Pete Swede was on fighters frigs and possibly dd and MEAT SHIELD! Black was in rear doing what Black does. PISSING THE ENEMY OFF! Fighters, frigs, dd and bc. UGH it is too much to write but sufficed to say Black and I hypered dds all over. BBT united 3 bcs and hypered them for clean up duty. Hideki and BBT swarmed all over the place. Poor Pete Swede faced the brunt of the pain with 2x fighting in center while Black was trying to open something up and support both Petes. It was a gg all around. Hideki dropping was a pain but we recovered with swarm and Pete Swede surrendering. Whew what a mess! |

Which usually means killing our units  Black got his BC's into some ugly positions using cloaks and lvl2 speed.
Good team play all round with unit transfers and collaboration, as you see from the stats heavy losses occured on both sides. Losing Hideki during the mid game made things really exciting, and it helped even the teams for the 2nd half of the game. How often do you get a morning (GMT) game in with this quality? First time in 2 yrs I reckon.... |

Yeah and poor me arrived 20 secs before u guys started to play. I was smurfing though......when u guys were done I played 3 games with our groupie, as u can see on public forums. Damn u guys must have had a good game.
Hd and me made some duck soup twice using a smart double dd strat twice, hehehe |

about that game, to tell the truth, I just had to avoid that crash... I was going to press short cut key K to open up the diplomacy thing to give some ru to madbomb, but then again, my busy fingers accidentally pressed L, which would open up docked ship pane, which in some cases especially probably when something is docked will cause the game to crash... for some reason. I made this mistake some times in the past... I hate it happens... Also, if you tend to play vaygr, watch out for this crashing bug too. When u retire a mod from a cc and try to get a new mod by pressing the new mod (like, get a fighter mod, when u already had a vette mod), it will sell the vette mod and instantly start making fighter mod, but when you're in a network game, those steps seem to happen with a little delay, and if u try to make something, like a col or a probe before the new mod starts building, it will crash, so give it a break before making something when u do that. I crashed quite a few games with this either. Sry to sort of waste quite a gg. Hope to have another soon. |

I have noticed this too, it happens with Hiigaran race as well which I play 95% of the time. |

yea that game crashing thing is kinda wierd... i have only had that happen to me in the middle of a huge battle scene as hig... never as vaygr... go figure =) | ||

I think its fair to say the team odds were in our favour this time, and you guys played an exceptional game. TBH I thought it would end alot sooner and we could squeeze a 2nd game in with a new team mix, but you out did yourself so I ran out of time.
