:: History ::
The [TFL] clan started in Empire at war 2 days after its launch. We were intially a skilled Homeworld 2 clan but two members ..myself and Apocalypse decided to branch out to EaW. Since that day we have expanded slowly and carefully, using strict recruitment methods.
:: What [TFL] offers as a Clan ::
We started with only 2 members. Now we have over 15. TFLs success is mainly down to our way of recruitment. We recruit on the basis of two things - Attitude and Skills . We are a simple no-nonsence clan and its this that recruits find most appealing. No oaths , No politics ,none of this rank crap , everyone has equal say in our clan. All we care about is skills , learning skills, sharing skills , using skills to pwn other clans ...and not being a total asshole. As a clan we dont mind that little bit of ego or cockyness either..aslong as your not a total asshole its ok. .
:: What [TFL] offers in the Game ::
We are a clan that has both 1v1 Ladder players in the top 100 and 2v2 Custom Lobby playerswho fight versus other clans. We are totally flexible to a skilled players needs. Whether you strive to reach top 20 in the ladder sharing 1v1 tactics and expierences with fellow ladder players , or train in the custom lobby devising team tactics and strategies to defeat other clans..we let YOU decide how you want to represent TFL. Most of our members play both ladder 1v1 and custom 2v2 or a bit of one and more of the other.
TFL uses Voice Communication during team games. We use teamspeak. Not only to take team coordination to a new level in custom 2v2s but also to enhance the fun in games, win or lose. Nothing beats having a laugh over teamspeak.

TFL plays quite alot of internal 2v2 and 3v3 games to , TFL v TFL. A good environment to try out wacky strats for fun, to practice teamplay and just have some good fun with people you know.
:: The Process ::
Well so youve read my sales pitch :P ..and now your wondering when can I start pwning already ..well ok ok ok !!!
The simple process is this.
1- Fill out your application form.
2- Make sure you have xfire and you tell us your xfire username.
3- Get on EaW when u see us on xfire playing. Add us to buddylist too.
4- Play with us , GET TO KNOW US! . Thats important. Its not important inother clans but its important in ours.
5- Once enuff of us get to know you , and we know your skill level , we will put you on the TFL trial
6- The TFL trial basically means you get the TAG and the forum access. Yea I know it basically means your a TFL , but during the trial period we can end your application if your an asshole ...lets say you make one too many Momma Jokes or you have teretts syndrome. For skill level we usually make a good judgement that your skill level is very good , or we judge that you are learning really fast before we add you to the Trial. Sometimes however we do ask players who are on Trial to make an effort to improve their skills. The Trial has no time limit so we dont boot you for skills , just wait and wait and wait lol. You still have the tag tho :P.
7- Once we think you got to know everyone really well and your skills are really good then you become full TFL. The transition should be seemless. Fact of the matter is that most of the Trialers dont even notice the transition which is a good thing....
TFL is a constantly evolving clan. We are thinking of moving to a new game in 2007 called Supreme Commander. Again..for that game..we will aim to be a strong force.
