Well I broke the bank to get this baby

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
Asus P5Q3 Deluxe Mobo
2Gb Corsair Dual-Channel DDR3 1333 FSB Ram
500gb Sata2 Hdd
Samsung 22x Dvdrw SATA
HIS ATI Radeon HD4870 1Gb
Coolermaster CM590 Case
1000W PSU A7X
Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit
17 inch TFT Monitor

- Cost £1000 altogether. Wasnt cheap but its a good deal considering the same system would cost £1500 anywhere else (in UK). If you want to know where to get a system like this for 1k , then pm .
Probably going to do the whole Crysis thing now

I have got something quiet like u, but i have:

Gigabyte GA-ep45-dq6 cross -fire mother board.

And my ati hd4870 1G has instability issues, like sometimes when i switch power on and after loading screen, the blue screen of death shows and says (dumping memory).

Wish i got a nvidia instead

nice thing about vista though is no more blue screens =p

You need to get yourself more RAM when you can 2GB will be a bottleneck on your system.
