does anyone know of a program that can monitor / alter the output type such that i can have all my xfire ts and ventrillo programs go out through the headphones but everything else goes in on my normal speakers?

well i am old and wise enough now to not directly say NO but IF it is possible then it should be an option in ts/ventrillo to output the audio to by example the rear speakers .
As far as i know this isn't possible but plz correct me if i am wrong
well my problem is that when i plug the headphones into the front audio jack everything comes out of em. i have a "rear" speaker jack on the back of the computer which i could use but i am not sure how that would work.... i looked at the xfire chat and saw no such thing.... i am going to play with TS right now but thanks tank for your respones =)
-cheers

well i am also getting a second audio card for my computer so i can hook up my surrond sound to it... mayb i can have normal sound come out of that and xfire come out of the mobo sound....

Shouldn't be too bad, I bought a Sennheisser headset a few weeks ago which came with a free USB audio device which had 2 x 3.5mm sockets for the earphones and mic.
