Why you want to join the TFL ?: TLSC is dead and Apoc thinks this is the place to be.

Ok for those who don't recall or even just don't know Lucid... He was a skilled member of the now defunct UT'04 TLSC division. For most of that division's lifespan he was also my right hand man and a valued team player.
Some of you may even remember his role in the brief orgasm that was Freelancer, and the backup he provided in dealing with the 9th.inf even starring in a 9th.inf vid made by Thrain which I'm sure I posted here somewhere.
Lucid would indeed be a very valuable member to TFL and I, for one, would be glad to have him here.
To you, Lucid... You'll find it different here when compared to TLSC, while TLSC was left to rot with no-one to prop the place up or back anything else up, we have a hard grafting team here with all the support you could wish for in getting things moving and in the right direction. Although things are a little quiet right now, with the festive period just ended things will pick up shortly as they usually do. I mentioned in the other recruitment thread that there is no recruitment policy yet for the 360 club and based on my own knowledge of you I will, gladly admit you with the only requirement being good sportsmanship and a good sense of humour, which I know you possess both.
The 360 section is nothing but a club right now with no content (i've only just started today to get things moving) and there is no mandatory requirements. It will also remain seperate from the rest of TFL seeing as technically I'm the only one here who can recommend folk and admit them. It works good anyway cos TFL members can get to know you and there won't be any problems by the time you get your uber pc sorted.
Yeh soz about taking my time about all this. I'd put gaming on hold in my life while I started my job and settled into my new city (and also had a shockingly shite net connection). But in the next couple of months I'll be really able to get back on the horse, so to speak. So who do I need to speak to around here about UT3 then?
That will be me, but that's a different kettle of fish and I need to go through the other members before I hook you up there, although it really shouldn't be a problem. Give it a day or two, let others see this and they can reply in kind regarding UT3.
Welcome Lucid! Yeah I remeber Freelancer with Lucid. I liked him and he's a good guy. Same as I said in the Obee post...welcome to TFL boards and good to have ya.
Board Admins or the section admins have to grant you access, I think. Give it a couple of days fellas because we are chatting about the Apoc Console Club thing. We are a full democracy so need a little time to get feedback from everyone.

also apoc.... what you need to do now is just kidnap MVB and then and only then will you be the supreme clan stealer. i would laugh myself to death if i saw MVB apply on these boards.

Good to hear. TLSC was more often than not full of hot air, nothing ever got done. When I led the UT04 division everyone seemed to want things to happen, but no one got off their arse to do it. Screw 'em.

Yea like I said you once before, It works differently here. If you want to start something, you get given the tools to do the job. Tank is very good at giving people a foundation to work on, other members such as Maddie/BBT and Zak are good at protecting TFL's interests while giving you enough freedom to your job.
In a nutshell, things get done here and if things don't work out we move on. All very cushty here.
